Tips & FAQs

First time Trying Tampax?

Inserting a Tampax is easier when you're relaxed. With a little practice, you'll nail it! Here are some cool tips for an easier and more comfortable experience:

  • Stand in a relaxed position
  • Slightly bend your knees
  • Lift one leg onto the toilet or a stable surface

Can a Tampax get lost in your body?

Absolutely not! The cervix is a natural barrier in your body that prevents the Tampax from getting lost.

Can the string break?

Impossible! The Tampon string is sewn all the way to the top, making it very strong.

Can I pee with the Tampax in?

Of course you can. Urine and menstrual flow exit from two different openings.

Toxic shock syndrome is a very rare but serious treatable bacterial infection that feels like the flu.  Should you worry?

Just be attentive to any symptoms and use the appropriate absorbency for each day of your period.

If you feel it, it's placed Incorrectly.

If you didn't place it correctly the first time, just try again. You'll see it's very easy.
